1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ComplyEngine (“the Service”), operated by Islamic Open Finance™, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Service Description
ComplyEngine provides EU AI Act compliance management tools including AI system registration, risk assessments, incident reporting, evidence generation, and human oversight logging. The Service is designed to help organisations comply with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU Artificial Intelligence Act).
3. Account Obligations
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, interfere with the Service's operation, or transmit harmful code.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, documentation, and content, is the property of Islamic Open Finance™ and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of data you upload to the Service.
6. Data Processing
Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. We process data in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable data protection laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ComplyEngine is a compliance assistance tool and does not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for ensuring your organisation's compliance with the EU AI Act.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the European Union and the Member State in which you are established. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that Member State.
